materials: book pages, photographs
process: I cut out a picture I took of my face and glued book pages behind it. Then I cut out pieces of my first art project and glued them coming out of my eyes.
ideas: I wanted to use my first piece about a kid’s dream, since it was unsuccessful, and use that to make it show how through the book pages under my eyes and how school takes up a lot of my thoughts, that my inner child bleeds through in hard times.

  Materials: book, photography, glue Process: I cut out the middle of the pages to add depth and then I used the parts I cut out to add butterflies and flowers.  Ideas: I wanted to sort of show the butterflies flying out of the book. Since butterflies and flowers have been key idems in many of my other pieces, I felt like I should add them here as well to show a sort of release or freedom from the “doom” that I’m feeling.
