Materials: paper, photography, glue Processes: I took a picture of the side of my face with my eye as the main focus, I then cut out tear shapes in gems from a crown I was wearing in a previous picture, and blue pieces of paper. Then I cut out pieces of a book I wanted to and glued them. Ideas: I wanted to show me crying with the gems from the crown I have in a previous piece, and the other pieces. I wanted to show how I’m crying out my childhood or the pieces of me that I connect with my childhood leaving me. The words say “things had never been much worse” to help show how when things are bad I leave the parts of my childhood behind.
materials: posca markers, colored paper, photograph, book pages
ReplyDeleteprocesses: i took the picture then cut out pieces of my hands to make it look more dramatic, then I found certain words in a book that felt like they fit and then lastly i took a black piece of paper to look like my mind and colored over it in paint pens.
ideas: i was thinking about in times of angst and ovewhelmed feelings i feel like a bunch of exploding thoughts. by making it look like im ripping my head open, from my eye i wanted to show the feeling of being lost in my own mind and thoughts.
