Materials: book, photography, glue Process: I cut out the middle of the pages to add depth and then I used the parts I cut out to add butterflies and flowers. Ideas: I wanted to sort of show the butterflies flying out of the book. Since butterflies and flowers have been key idems in many of my other pieces, I felt like I should add them here as well to show a sort of release or freedom from the “doom” that I’m feeling.
I pinned some things on your pinterest site. I think if you ar planning on going with this naive style you might want to treat this as a children's book. If you want to treat is as juxtaposing a narrative with reality, take a look at the board.
