  Growing up from the homework full of arts and crafts of kindergarten to the intense twelve page paper of senior year, there are many things I have learned in my route of life. One of the things I was forced to learn, and one of the things I struggle with most, is how to cope with the stress of school. My second piece shows how when I’m challenged with strong literature, I always try and find a way to incorporate characters and scenes in my childhood that will help me focus on the text better. While being in times of high stress I tend to lean back on things that made me happy and content as a child. I wanted to use butterflies, book pages/words and flowers in each project to help connect each piece with something in my childhood.
