materials: photography, watercolor, and collage ideas: I wanted to make it look like I was studying, but not totally focusing, so while I was reading, the words weren’t sticking in my mind other than big ones that would affect my view on the world. Not processing the book, like i’m in my own world. My mind is somewhere else. process: I took a picture of me reading a book while studying and printed it out in both color and black in white. I cut out my face in black and white and glued it on the color one further down to make it look imaginative. Then I cut out specific words and little sections and glued them coming out of my head. The clouds in the background come from a picture, and I cut it and glued it behind.
